I lose everything especially remotes. The fact that I can use the remote on my phone is amazing. Being able to use my phone keyboard is also a game changer.

Clearly if I need to download the remote then I cant go into my device to set up network.... Ugh

I am so happy to have this remote app on all my devices! The remote never gets lost so long as you can keep up with your phone, iPad, and mac :)

I used this app for a month solely for the earphones option, then while I while I was using it this week, it stopped connecting to the Roku and can no longer find it at all. It spins and spins, saying theres no Roku at all. Incompetent Roku techs that didnt know how to read an IP address nor understand how they function told me first that my router was not compatible (magically so, overnight?), then tried to tell me that the Roku wasnt on the same network when they saw ~the last three digits~ of the respective IPs werent identical (those numbers MUST be different, or your devices conflict).... then blamed the ISP. I worked with a top tier tech from the ISP for hours, and without a doubt, its the Roku, not the router nor ISP. Every trouble shooting method from Roku was used to fix things, and nothing worked. Suspiciously this same app for Kindle also behaves the same way. So... now after hours and hours of working with techs I sit missing the one critical feature that sold the Roku device to me (earphones) and Roku will "get back to me eventually". Plain and simple, this app is so temperamental and buggy, (or the Roku itself is), Ive regretted ever purchasing the device.

Awesome app! Very easy to navigate. Can turn your phone or tablet into a remote and use with headphones!

I tried to add a payment method but then Roku gives me a website error (not a user error). I tried their support but no help. There is no customer support number. I finally ended up going to Amazon Prime to purchase my movie!!! Horrible, horrible user experience.

This app gives you a remote with a full keyboard. I also like the ability to make the sound come out my phone.

Ive finally bought a Smart TV with Roku, but selecting channels is nausiating! Its user unfriendly. Having to scroll down one by one through ENDLESS channels. Theres GOT to be an easier way - like by selecting all and then Deselecting as time goes on. But the app keeps making me LOG IN every few minutes. And dont lose your spot because it will bring you right back to the very beginning again and youll have to scroll forever to get back to your spot. WHY???!!!!

This app is great and easy to control you wont get confused and is just like the real remote.

ESPN app is crap and Ive tried it on sling same thing worthless. ESPN problem? I doubt it. It does not freeze up and reload on my iPhone. I would say its a Roku problem. Sling was on my roku a stinking joke. Freeze up when the murderer is exposed and the show ends while my roku is loading. Amazon prime works good but thats it. Apple TV is coming to my home soon. Roku goes to goodwill store.

Very unhappy Roku. New Iphone - iOS 8- no way connect to app on iPhone. Did everything recommended on site & still not working. Will show Device when connect manually then go to remote and device cannot be found. BAD app. Will buy something more reliable than Roku next time!

Seriously the app wont connect to any of my three devices. Hopefully this is fixed soon. En verdad el app no se conecta con ninguno de mis tres dispositivos. Ojalá arreglen esto pronto.

My real remote is very hard to work with and the buttons hardly work! So this app helps a lot and works way better. And this is so great but, I havent figured out how to change the volume on the App

Unfortunately Ive blown through about 5 remotes for the 3 Rokus we have. The app is a great alternative that always works.

No longer connects to Roku stick.
